"Chalmers Contracting renovated our main floor bathroom in 2020. The renovation involved removing a wall, broom closet, vanity, medicine cabinet, fixtures, and shower. We met Caleb when he came out to our farm. He looked at my rough reno plan, and we brainstormed ways to improve it together. Caleb left with photos and measurements, and over the next few weeks, we swapped thoughts, modified, and finalized a plan. With direction from Caleb, we went shopping for shower and tiles, cabinets, granite countertop, and flooring. The renovation began while we were away on a 7-day winter vacation. When we returned, demolition was complete and the room was encased in heavy mil plastic sheeting to contain dust and debris. I was home most of the time for the remainder of the reno and was able to observe the work from my vantage points. Caleb subcontracted the plumber, electrician, countertop builder, and shower door fitter; the only person we personally hired, other than Caleb, was the cabinet builder. Caleb and his full-time crew are friendly and courteous, and their workmanship is skilled, conscientious, methodical, and meticulous. 5 stars"

“In the fall of 2014, we decided to add an all-weather sunroom to our existing Ranch style bungalow. We had almost given up hope of finding a Contractor that would come out of the city to do a small build in the rural Gull Lake area. In our search, we were given the name of a young carpenter that was venturing out on his own. After a couple of phone conversations, Caleb Chalmers drove out to meet with us. I compiled ideas by putting together bits and pieces from others’ builds and Caleb listened to my ideas.
