“In the fall of 2014, we decided to add an all-weather sunroom to our existing Ranch style bungalow. We had almost given up hope of finding a Contractor that would come out of the city to do a small build in the rural Gull Lake area. In our search, we were given the name of a young carpenter that was venturing out on his own. After a couple of phone conversations, Caleb Chalmers drove out to meet with us. I compiled ideas by putting together bits and pieces from others’ builds and Caleb listened to my ideas. After the approval of an architect and hours of him piecing together my specific wishes, he and his crew went to work. In a few months, my wish list was complete and the result was even better than I had envisioned. Caleb is an ambitious and conscientious carpenter who listened to what we wanted and worked hard to make it happen. His hard-working crew was friendly and fun to have around, and the respect they had for their work and boss was clear. We were very pleased that we had found Chalmers Contracting to complete our addition. Caleb even made the trip out when we needed assistance with a window.
